Christmas is my favorite holiday. It brings together my family members as well as providing an opportunity to enjoy many of our French customs. For example, we all look forward to eating our Christmas turkey filled to a point of explosion with my dad's famous French meat stuffing. We also salivate when we smell the aroma of my meme's touque pie, a tradition on New Year's Day.(French food)
But, my favorite part of the season is the enjoyment we get from being together. With many of us now living in various parts of the country, Christmas means we will have the opportunity to reflect on family memories, welcome new babies, and spouses to our ever enlarging family, share our hopes for the future, play games and laugh, laugh, laugh.
